Temperature measurement is already incorporated into the MWP units. This is measured from a thermistor mounted at the side of the chamber and the current temperature is displayed on the home screen of the Zantiks Control Console.
Our temperature control unit is an air circulation system and easily connects to either MWP system. The unit allows you to adjust the temperature in the testing chamber between -2°C and +10°C above the testing room's ambient temperature. You can use the temperature control unit with Zantiks' other add-ons simultaneously (e.g., optogenetic plate).
Using the temperature control unit can enable you to control the temperature at a constant without a climate-controlled room, as well as perform heat shocks and investigate temperature-induced phenotypic plasticity.
