This troubleshooting guide lists some of the most common reasons why you may be unable to connect to your Zantiks unit and the ways to fix the issue.
- Make sure the unit is switched on and receiving power.
- In the AD and LT units, there is a built in screen which you can see the IP address of the unit shown. However, the MWP system has no built in screen and it can be more difficult to tell. In the Z2S version's topbox, you can see the computer boards' lights illuminated through the air vent at the front of the box when the system is on.
- You may find that you are able to see a Homepage with links to the control console and the setting pages, but are unable to click through to them. This is likely a cached page and by clearing your cache, you will no longer see this Homepage. This is a good indicator that the network is at fault and not the unit itself.
- Ensure all the cables are firmly attached.
- The network cable should be connected from the router to the Zantiks unit. There will be a light illuminated on the front of the router indicating the unit is connected to the router.
- If you pull the cable out the light on the front should turn off.
